A+E Networks will premiere Lifetime in Turkey on April 26, its first free-to-air (FTA) channel in the market. A joint venture between A+E and MCD Medya, the announcement was made today by Dean Possenniskie, managing director, EMEA, A+E Networks, and Esra Oflaz Guvenkaya, President, MCD Medya. The channel will roll out programming from its catalogue featuring series, specials and groundbreaking movies. In addition, Lifetime Turkey will host local formats of A+E series, which will be announced at launch. The channel will also premiere an original new daily morning talk show. Turkey’s celebrity on-air personality Özge Uzun will tap into various female-skewing topics such as, beauty, cooking, fashion, pop culture, social media, health, childcare, music, movies, and more.
