Hat Trick International has pre-sold miniseries Doctor Thorne. Julian Fellowes (Downton Abbey, Gosford Park) adapted the period drama from Anthony Trollope’s novels. The costume drama, which has been licensed for the U.S. and Canada by The Weinstein Company, has been picked up by VRT Belgium, DR Byen Denmark, UTV Ireland, yes Satellite Services Israel, Prime New Zealand and SVT Sweden. Tom Hollander (The Night Manager), Ian McShane (Ray Donovan), Alison Brie (Mad Men) star in the three-part drama, which deals with wealth and poverty, marriage and false values. The series is produced by Hat Trick Productions for ITV.
