France’s Federation Entertainment and Finnish Fisher King Production have teamed up to produce Bordertown, a Scandinavian crime series that combines Nordic noir police procedural and family drama, is directed by Miikko Oikkonen and commissioned by YLE. Bordertown follows chief investigator Kari Sorjonen, his recovering wife and teenage daughter as they move to a small town. They discover that life is far from idyllic in the town between Finland and Russia when a serial killer terrorizes the community. Currently in production, and marking a second co-production venture between Federation and Fisher King, Federation Entertainment distributes Bordertown worldwide.
