U.K.-based Passion Distribution, part of transatlantic super indie Tinopolis Group, has named Emmanuelle Namiech (pictured) as its new CEO. Namiech joins the company from Banijay International, where she was managing director. In her role, she oversaw Banijay’s sales and acquisitions teams based in both London and LA. Namiech will take over from founder and CEO, Sally Miles, to lead the distribution company’s global strategy and focus on new and existing relations with content partners.
Tremendous! Entertainment has appointed Ronak Kordestani to the role of head of Development. Based in Los Angeles, Kordestani will manage the expansion of Tremendous! Entertainment’s production slate, which currently includes Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern, Rock the Park, and more. Kordestani comes to Tremendous! from Trium Entertainment/INE Entertainment, where she was in charge of all scripted and unscripted development across multiple platforms and developed series including Something Borrowed, Something New and Hatched, among others.
