Riedel Communications, real-time video, audio, and data provider has hired broadcast-industry veteran Joe Commare (pictured) as marketing and sales manager, North America. Commare will create and enact new marketing strategies, targeted at North American markets. In addition, Commare will provide sales and technical support when needed. Previously, Commare served as an account director for Wall Street Communications, where he managed the account of Riedel Communications globally, along with several other clients serving the worldwide broadcast and media industry.
Digital media services provider RR Media has named David Treadway as the joint Managing Director for Europe. Treadway will join existing managing director for Europe, Simon Kay. In his new role, Treadway will be responsible for developing and enhancing RR Media’s broadcast services, including channel origination, multi-platform and distribution from RR Media’s European Media Centre in London. Prior to joining RR, Treadway served as CEO of WRN Broadcast. Additionally, Treadway held a number of senior executive roles at Virgin Media, 3i plc and the BBC.
