Toronto-based distribution company 108 Media has signed for the rights to 44 feature films from independent film specialists Indican Pictures. The deal, headed up by 108’s Nancy Silverstone, head of Acquisitions and Content Strategy and Indican’s founder, Shaun Hill, will see 108 Media secure exclusive worldwide distribution rights, for all linear and non linear platforms (excluding North America). The lineup includes titles such as Boiling Pot by Omar Ashmawey, Downshift by Ryan Schmitz, Kamikaze by Marcus Shakesheff, Love Me True by Kirby Voss, Red Herring by Ousa Khun and Starcrossed by Chase Mohseni.
