Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter Seal has been cast in the role of Pontius Pilate in The Passion, Fox’s live musical event airing live from New Orleans. The Passion, written by Peter Barscocchini, is a modern-day retelling of Jesus’ last hours on earth. Seal joins the previously announced host and narrator Tyler Perry and cast members Jencarlos Canela, Chris Daughtry, Prince Royce and Trisha Yearwood. The event, produced by dick clark productions, Eye2Eye Media and Anders Media, will air on Palm Sunday (March 20) at 8:00-10:00 pm ET.
