Orange Is the New Black, Netflix’s most watched series, has landed a three-season renewal from the streaming platform. As part of the deal, Jenji Kohan will remain the show’s frontrunner through seasons five through seven. According to Variety, this is the “longest commitment for any TV series in recent memory.” The contract follows the Lionsgate-produced series’ success at the SAG awards, which took home the best ensemble comedy award, and actress Uzo Aduba won the best actress in a comedy.
