The Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers has unveiled the details for the NAB Show’s “The Future of Cinema Conference: The Immortal Movie.” Produced in partnership with SMPTE, the conference will explore how content creators can artistically integrate motion-imaging technology in Las Vegas. There will also be sessions on the creative use of HDR, next-generation distribution and filmmaking and the impact of advanced technologies on event cinema. The conference is scheduled for April 16-17 during the 2016 April NAB Show. Registration opened December 21.
