A+E Networks and HJ Holdings (Hulu in Japan) have entered a programming partnership, bringing A+E Networks’ catalogue to the Japanese SVOD service. Programming will be made available to subscribers in Japanese, in an exclusive section of Hulu in Japan, featuring A+E’s History, Crime and Investigation, Lifetime and FYI brands. Hulu launched in Japan in 2011, and was fully acquired by Nippon Television Network Corporation in 2014.
