The nominees for the 73rd Annual Golden Globe Awards were announced this morning. Angela Bassett, America Ferrara, Chloë Moretz, Dennis Quaid made the announcement, along with Hollywood Foreign Press Association president Lorenzo Soria and Barry Adelman, evp of Television at dick clark productions.
Todd Haynes’ Carol leads the nominations for film with five nods, while newcomers Empire, Mr. Robot and Narcos beat out Downton Abbey, Homeland and Mad Men for the drama series nom. The awards ceremony, hosted by Ricky Gervais, will air January 10 on NBC, from 8:00-11:00 pm EST.
