Scripps Networks Interactive has commissioned House Hunters Asia, HGTV in Asia-Pacific’s first long-form original production. The deal coincides with the one-year anniversary of HGTV in Asia-Pacific. The series follows prospective buyers across Asia as they navigate the choppy waters of buying real estate.House Hunters Asia is based on the U.S. format House Hunters, and is set to air on HGTV in second quarter 2016.  Produced by Endemol Shine, House Hunters Asia will be filmed in Singapore and Malaysia this January.
