Sesame Workshop has named Ho Chi Minh City-based Thaole Entertainment as its master licensee for content distribution in Southeast Asia. The deal covers territories including Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam and the Philippines. Thaole’s will deliver Sesame Workshop’s catalogue, which includes Sesame Street, The Furchester Hotel and Super Healthy Monsters, among other educational programs. The programming will be available on Free Terrestrial TV, pay TV and subscription video on demand.
