Toonami, Turner’s superhero and action-adventure animation based in South and Southeast Asia, has secured Dragon Ball Super from Toei Animation. The latest installment of the Dragon Ball franchise follows Goku as he tries to maintain the fragile peace on the earth in the aftermath of his battle with Majin Buu. This is the first Dragon Ball television series to be produced in almost 20 years. The series will make its exclusive first-run premiere on Toonami in Southeast Asia and India in mid-2016.
