Nomad Films’ documentary Giraffes: The Forgotten Giants will air on CBC TV’sThe Nature of Things on November 5. Co-written and directed by Mark Johnston, the documentary raises awareness for the “silent extinction” of giraffes, and offers a glimpse into the lives of the shy, gentle animals, both in the wild in Africa and in captivity in Canada.
