During the TV market, Italy’s public broadcasting company, RAI Com, sold rights to crime series The Young Montalbano 2to the U.K.’s BBC, Japan’s NEP NHK and Australia’s Hi Gloss. Distributors from the U.S., Japan, Australia, Estonia and Finland showed interest in female-lead crime series Close Murders. Additionally, drama series The Family went to Canada’s Rogers. Pre-sales for RAI Com’s latest animation projects, Silly Season and Pio the Chicken, also kicked off in Cannes.
