Lupus Films and HarperCollins Children’s Books will develop and co-produce Judith Kerr’s picture book The Tiger Who Came to Tea for television. Celebrating its 50th anniversary, The Tiger Who Came to Tea tells the story of Sophie and her tiger teatime guest. The picture book has sold over 5 million copies since its first publication in 1968. The series will be produced by Lupus founders Camilla Deakin and Ruth Fielding along with Ann-Janine Murtagh, Katie Fulford, and Mia Jupp of HarperCollins Children’s Books.
