ABC picked up Get Christie Love, a drama series from showrunner Courtney Kemp, with an order for a pilot production commitment. The producers attached are Vine Diesel, Debra Martin Chase, and Shana C. Waterman. The co-production between Lionsgate Television and Universal Television is a reboot of the 1974 film Get Christie Love! and its subsequent series that also aired on ABC. Written by Kemp, the new Get Christie Love is a music-driven drama that follows Love, who is an African American female CIA agent, as she takes her elite ops unit on dangerous missions.
